Patrick Douin

Patrick Douin joined Neptune in July 2015 as a founding partner to set-up the firm’s international practice. Patrick started his legal career with the Paris law firm Ginestié Paley-Vincent, moved to London for 3i and returned to join Orsay Avocats where he became a partner.

He advises primarily on Corporate law, Private Equity (buyouts and growth), Venture Capital and M&A transactions. His experience of working for US and UK funds on deals across Europe is particularly helpful when advising foreign clients investing in France, or to assist French clients on their international transactions.

Patrick is a member of the Paris bar. Patrick is bilingual and bicultural French and English.
